Beginning in September 05, Cadets over 16 with an interest in music will be able to earn a vocational qualification equivalent to 4 GCSE's at A*- C level (4 Standard grades at levels 1-3 in Scotland)
The BTEC First Diploma in Performing Arts (Music) curriculum has been designed to develop a basic understanding of the music industry and combines technical skills with theory and practical elements.
Upon completion, Cadets will have demonstrated an understanding of all aspects of the music business including legal issues, marketing, budget forecasting, music selection, composition and performance.
The coursework is assessed by Ed excel.
